The facsimiles of the manuscript are available: Coisl. 187
The pinakes identifier of the manuscript is: 49326
The content of the manuscript is:
- f. 1r–175r: Catena textualis (alternating catena or Textkatene) in Psalmos 17,〈36c〉–150
- f. 175v–193v: Catena textualis in Odas
Form: codex
Material: parchment
Extent: 290 x 210 mm
Layout of the pages: 193 ff., 30 lines per page
Scripts:
- Majuscule letters (Alexandrinische Auszeichnungsmajuskel): Psalm text, commentary fragments and glosses added by the first hand in the margins
- Minuscule letters (Minuscola quadrata): commentary fragments in the main text
- Small majuscule letters: commentary fragments and hexaplaric variants added by a second hand in the margins
- Rather good orthographic correctness
Decoration: absent
Written in the second half of the 9th century or at the beginning of the 10th century (dating by Maria Tomadaki)
The punctuation faithfully reproduces that of the manuscript, where it is unambiguous. It makes use of the three dots inherited from ancient interpunctive theory: high dot or τελεία στιγμή (·) at the end of the sentence; middle dot or μέση στιγμή (·) between clauses (κῶλα); low dot or ὐποστιγμή (.) before the part that gives fulfillment to the sentence. Manuscript practice may deviate from these rules. The following codepoints are used in the transcription: 0387 (hex) "GREEK ANO TELEIA", 00B7 (hex) "MIDDLE DOT", 002E (hex) "FULL STOP", 002C (hex) "COMMA", 2022 (hex) "BULLET", 2058 (hex) "FOUR DOT PUNCTUATION", and 003A (hex) "COLON".
The transcription of the fragments is semi-diplomatic: orthographic peculiarities of the manuscript are not normalized but the resolution of abbreviations is not indicated by round brackets. Exceptions are tachygraphic (ἐστί) and φη(σί) abbreviated by suspension. Phenomena related to the writing process like additions, deletions, substitutions, or corrections are documented.
